Stay Pumped Up

Tire pressure is key to helping your tires last that much longer. Overinflated and under-inflated tires can cause tires to wear faster. Also, having bad tire pressure can also cause bad gas milage.

Keep Your Car Aligned

If you car is out of alignment then your car will pull to the left or the right. When this happens it causes your tires to wear unevenly, which can force you to replace your tires sooner than you would like to. It is recommend that you align your car once every year to two years.

Rotate Regularly

Your driving habits affect how your tires wear you might turn harder to the left vs the right. This will put different pressure on your tires, and cause them to wear differently. It is recommend that you rotate your tires every 5,000 to 7,000 miles that is comparable to 2 to 3 oil changes.

Check Your Balance

When you get your car aligned it is important that you have them rebalance your tires or even just check the balance to make sure you’re okay. When your tires are out of balance it causes an annoying vibration, so stay in balance.

These are just a few simple steps that can help keep money in your pocket, and better yet safer on the road. If your tires are in good shape then you are in good shape.
